Validators
Validators secure Lattice by participating in consensus, producing blocks, and attesting to state transitions.
How It Works
Lattice uses a rotating sub-committee model. Each epoch, a subset of validators is selected to form a co-located committee responsible for block production. All other validators participate in attestation and finality, ensuring the network remains decentralized while achieving sub-20ms block cadence.
Rewards
Validators earn protocol-issued rewards proportional to their participation. Committee members receive additional compensation for block production, and latency-optimized infrastructure is rewarded with colocation bonuses. Slashing penalties enforce honest behavior.
Requirements
Validator participation is permissionless. There is no minimum stake threshold for joining the validator set. Hardware requirements and setup documentation will be published ahead of mainnet launch.
